Fundamental Kitchen Skills – International Cuisine with Marcia Willsie* of Ezekiel's Table and Liz Yvon of Aubergines, Etc.
Learn those important kitchen basics on a whirlwind tour through Europe and the Middle East. Beginning at 11am (so no kids will be dragged from their beds), we'll start with a delicious snack and get right to work fixing our lunch. Afterwards we will accomplish a few more dishes to take home and be done with light clean-up by 3pm!

*As mother, wife and world traveler, Marcia has approached the world through the kitchen door and has passionately pursued the world’s hearth as a means of personal, political, and artistic expression. Learning to read as a child by following recipes, she has since followed her passion for cooking into villages and home kitchens throughout Europe and the Middle East. This lifetime passion for learning the cooking techniques of diverse cultures and time periods, and for interpreting them for the modern American palate, led her to the Seattle Culinary Academy where she received professional chef certification. It was there that she increased her understanding of classical technique and found the professional kitchen to be an exotic land all its own.
Her recent move to a pre-revolutionary farmhouse in Princeton, New Jersey, has given her an evocative setting in which to pursue her passion for cooking through the teaching of small classes. When she is not busy cooking and teaching, she is roaming her new surroundings in search of its many culinary treasures.
